The Technical Direction of Space Studies is the body responsible for disseminating knowledge in space science and technology, promote, implement and monitor programs of human capacity building at  post-graduate level and the training programs at basic, intermediate and advanced levels; as well as perform the technical document management, addressing to the national interests and international commitments. 

SPECIFIC OBJECTIVES: 

Develop, promote and implement regular training programs that allow the improvement of professional, technical and auxiliary personnel of CONIDA.

Develop, propose and implement regular training programs addressed to public and private institutions, in particular, to support universities in their scientific and technological projects.

Execute capacitation programs at post-graduate level in space technology applications and others subjects of interest of CONIDA and the country.

Contribute to the research activities of the CONIDA.

Promote scientific and technological events of national and international character in space-related subjects.

Facilitate the signing of capacitation agreements with national or foreign entities related to space science and technology.

Prepare and keep the technical documentation produced and used within the activities and projects developed by the CONIDA.

Coordinate the dissemination of technical information produced by the Institution.

Keep updated the information contained in the website for the institution.

The Technical Direction of Space Studies annually develops an academic program of short courses and through agreements with universities plans to develop post-graduate programs. It also conducts School Workshops on Space Activities aiming to motivate the interest in space activities of the students in fourth and fifth year of high school.
